Rev. Ewan McPhail

Fr. McPhail was appointed assistant priest in December 1976 coming from St. Conval's, Pollok. Part of his duties as assistant was to look after the Altar Servers and in August 1977 he was appointed School Chaplain to St. Andrew's Secondary School, a post he held until October 1984.

Fr. McPhail was very much involved in the Charismatic Renewal within the parish but in April 1981 he was transferred to St. Jude's, Barlanark. Following his time in St. Jude's, he has been assistant priest in St. Ninian's, Knightswood, St. Martin's, Castlemilk, and Sacred Heart, Cumbernauld before being appointed Parish Priest of St. Philip's, Ruchazie.

In May 1994, Fr. McPhail left St. Philip's and active ministry. Since then he has been working with a Voluntary Sector Organisation in Community Mental Health.

First Communion Mass: Sunday 13th of May - At all Sunday Masses.

Mass of Thanks giving: procession and presentation of certificates - Solemnity of Corpus Christi 10th June at 10am Mass , attended also by The Knights of the Holy Sepulchure.
