Rev. John Ryan

Fr. Ryan is one of the priests of the parish who crosses over from the old church to the new church. He arrived in St. Paul's from St. Pat's, Anderston in 1957 before moving to St. Philomena's, Provanmill in 1959.

Fr. Ryan served in the Archdiocese of Sacramento from 1960 - 61 and the Diocese of San Diego, California from 1961. He was excardinated (transferred) from Glasgow in 1963. His last known post was in the Holy Trinity Church, El Cajou, California and unfortunately further contact with him has not been possible but we have been assured that he is still in active ministry.

According to Fr. Centra, his good friend, Fr. John was a great character who was both well loved and admired

Celebration of the Sacrament: Tuesday March 27th 7.30pm

First Communion:

Catechetical Sessions : Tuesday 24th of April,1st & 8th May 6.00pm in the hall.

First Communion Practice: Sunday 6th of May - Time as arranged.

First Communion Mass: Sunday 13th of May - At all Sunday Masses.

Mass of Thanks giving: procession and presentation of certificates - Solemnity of Corpus Christi 10th June at 10am Mass , attended also by The Knights of the Holy Sepulchure.
